- Genuine 250W Chain-Driven Motor with Mounting Screws for Razor Crazy Cart (V5+) & Crazy Cart DLX (V1+) — Part #W25143490030
Description
When the Crazy Cart stops moving — or loses the power and acceleration that makes drifting possible — the motor is the first component to investigate. The 250-watt chain-driven motor is the single most critical component in the Crazy Cart's drivetrain. It converts the electrical energy from the battery into the rotational force that drives the front wheel via the #25 chain, generating the torque that accelerates the cart, sustains its speed through corners, and delivers the responsive, variable-speed performance that defines the Crazy Cart experience.
Motors fail for several reasons: prolonged use at high load, water ingress, bearing wear, or electrical faults in the windings or brushes. The symptoms are unmistakable — the cart either refuses to move entirely, moves only weakly with no acceleration, or cuts out under load. In each case, replacing the motor with the correct genuine part is the definitive repair.
This is the genuine Razor 250W chain-driven replacement motor for the Crazy Cart (Version 5 and above) and Crazy Cart DLX (Version 1 and above), supplied with the mounting screws included. It is the model MY1016 motor — the factory-specification unit fitted to all V5+ Crazy Carts — rated at 24 volts, 250 watts, with a 9-tooth #25 chain sprocket pre-fitted to the output shaft. It is a direct, bolt-in replacement for the original motor, using the same mounting hole pattern, the same shaft diameter, and the same sprocket specification as the unit it replaces
Genuine 250W Factory Specification — Rated to the exact 250-watt output of the original motor, ensuring the cart delivers the same acceleration, top speed, and torque as it did when new. Aftermarket motors with lower power ratings produce noticeably weaker performance; those with higher ratings can overload the speed controller and wiring harness.
9-Tooth #25 Sprocket Pre-Fitted — The motor arrives with the correct 9-tooth #25 chain sprocket already installed on the output shaft, matching the factory gear ratio and chain specification of the Crazy Cart drivetrain. No additional sprocket sourcing or fitting is required.
Direct Bolt-In Replacement — The mounting hole pattern, shaft diameter, and connector configuration are identical to the original V5+ motor. Disconnect the old motor, bolt in the new one, reconnect the chain and wiring, and the repair is complete.
Supplied with Mounting Screws — All motor mounting screws are included, ensuring a secure, vibration-resistant installation from the outset without the need to source additional hardware.
Resolves the Most Serious Crazy Cart Drivetrain Failure — A failed motor renders the cart completely inoperable regardless of the condition of the battery, controller, or chain. Replacing the motor with the genuine part restores full drivetrain function in a single repair

Version 5 and above
Razor Crazy Cart DLX
Version 1 and above
Version check — essential before ordering: This motor is not compatible with Crazy Cart Versions 1–4, which use a different motor with a different mounting configuration. Fitting this motor to a V1–V4 cart will result in incorrect alignment and the motor will not function correctly. Not compatible with: Crazy Cart XL (which uses a 500W motor), Crazy Cart Shift, Crazy Cart Shift 2.0, or Crazy Cart Shift Lightshow — all of which use different motor specifications and mounting configurations. How to identify your version: Locate the barcode sticker on your battery cover or the bottom of the frame. The 7th and 8th digits of the product ID code indicate your version number (e.g., ""05"" = Version 5, ""06"" = Version 6)
