A lost, damaged, or failed charger is one of the most common reasons a Razor ride-on sits unused — and it is also one of the easiest problems to solve incorrectly. The temptation to reach for a cheap generic charger is understandable, but the consequences of using the wrong output voltage or amperage are serious: overcharging degrades the battery's capacity permanently, undercharging leaves it in a partial state of discharge that shortens its working life, and an incorrect connector can damage the charging port on the ride-on itself.
This is the genuine Razor 12V / 1.0A (1000mA) single pin charger with a European two-pin plug, the factory-specification charger supplied with a wide range of Razor electric scooters and ride-ons in the European market. It delivers a precisely regulated 12 volts at 1,000 milliamps (1.0A) — the exact output required to charge the 12V battery systems fitted to all compatible models safely and efficiently, without the risk of over-voltage or excessive current that can permanently damage a sealed lead acid battery.
The single pin connector is the key fitment detail for this charger. It is designed specifically for models that use a single-pin charging port, and it is not interchangeable with the three-pin or two-pin connectors used on other Razor products. Always confirm your model's charging port type before ordering.
